Light a wish is about poetry and light: simple, intuitively understood, triggers emotions, with a personal connection and a lasting impact. It is an art project that plays with existing memories, experiences and transforms them, opening room for new interpretations and experiences:

Everybody knows the child game of blowing a dandelion and casting a wish while blowing the seeds away. Our seeds of light are depicting exactly that moment: when they leave the flower, spread away, and taking your wish with them. The moment of creation, of substantialising a thought and a wish, of spreading the message and initiating change…

We are humbled to announce - but immensely proud and thankful - that our light installation Light a wish has been awarded the PUBLIC CHOICE AWARD of the people of Amsterdam and all the tourists that have visited the 7th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival.
